Three questions that decide whether a membership is worth it

  1. 1. How often will you really drive? Divide the annual dues plus amortised initiation by realistic days on track. Under about eight days a year, paying for open track days usually wins.
  2. 2. How far is it, honestly? Members who live within an hour drive three to four times more than those two hours away. Distance beats prestige.
  3. 3. Can you get out of it? Ask about transferability, resale, refund clauses and waiting lists before you sign. Clubs differ enormously here.
